Ka-nee-ta!

Ok, I'm so sorry it had been so long but I have been soooo busy lately and will blog about everything I did! Starting with that I went to Ka-nee-ta! I went with my grandma and my cousin and her cousin and all their family for the 50th Anniversary of their grandparents. It was lots of fun and we went swimming almost everyday! Ka-nee-ta is near the town of Sandy and in a desert type of thing which was on an Indian Reservation. I enjoyed my time there and hope to go again sometime!

Another Move!

Ok, so you all know that Caty Timmerman moved and I helped her pack up her room and a little of her house? Well now one of my best friends Sydney Savage is moving!!! Though, this time she is only moving to somewhere else in Lake Oswego:) The reason is because they were renting a house and now the owner has to move back in so she is kicking out Sydney and her family!(just kidding she just needs them to move out) The bad thing is that Sydney lives right next to one of my other best friends, Sophie Bauer(the one I went on the yacht with!) and now they can't live next to each other:( But I guess it much better then Sydney having to move really far away:)

Fourth of July!

I had a great Fourth of July! I went on a yacht with my one of my best friends Sophie Bauer and her family!) We had lots of fun, first we got there and unpacked because we were staying the night, then we drove around in a small boat called a Dingy, which was sooo much fun and we sang songs! After we drove back to the boat and ate dinner. We then were having fun and just goofing off on the boat until it was time for the sparklers! Everyone got to have five or six small one and one HUGE sparkler, they were so much fun and I loved it! We settled down and sat on the dock where the yacht was stationed and watched the fireworks from Washington because we were on the Columbia River and could see Washington on the other side! Everyone was tired and decided to go to bed, the next morning we packed up and went on the Dingy one more time to go swimming and let me tell you that the Columbia River is FREEZING! We got back and drove home(in a car). I had a GREAT Fourth of July!:)

Almost DONE!

Okay so my mom and I have painted the room's first coat, the closet and the the second coat of the ceiling! It looks great and cheery:) Now all we have to do is paint the second coat, on the three walls that are going to be off white and the closet and then just paint the last wall purple. After that I have to wait for the paint to dry, until I can actually start putting in my and furniture everything. But before that happens I have to get the furniture from Ikea, which happens to be a great store that I love:) The things I am getting there are a bed, bed side table, a chair for the desk I am making with my dad, the sheets for my new bed a bench type thing where I can put by my window and sit on it and maybe a book shelf! I am so excited and will post about my Fourth of July soon!

Moving Along!

This week has been so filled with things and projects, it is hard to even begin to explain but my mom, grandma and I have been working hard on my brother's room. So far we have EVERYTHING out but his desk and couch/pull out bed! That includes this whole bunk bed that we had to take apart, all of the junk he had covering his floor and desk, all of his electronics that were over flowing a huge bin, everything in his closet which was bulging out with things that I don't even know what they are! In the process of this I have got almost 15 bug bites and figured out what colors I want for my room, and how I'm going to put the furniture in my new room. For colors I'm going to have are purple and off white, I'm going to have my window wall be the purple and the ceiling, two other walls and the closet be the off white! Then I am having my door purple which is surrounded by the off white walls and my curtains be white which are surrounded by the purple wall! After all that I will have an orange bed spread and that will really set the room off, I'm excited and will post soon, sorry about that last delay!:) I hope everyone has a great 4th of July and I will be painting today! CLEANING!

Omg! I have been cleaning for at least FIVE days straight! With Caty T. and her house(which was so much fun!), to cleaning my room out and last my brothers filthy room. His room is so gross and disgusting it's hard to even stand cleaning it! haha:) But I guess that is how boys are, they are dirty and gross but not always(but mostly:)). Today my grandma and I really did the worst part of the room and now there is only about a third to do! Then I have to finish up my room which won't be too bad because I usually clean my room every month at least, unlike my brother, so my room is cleaner. I am about to head over to Caty T.'s house to do my probably last cleaning with them but I will most likely see her tomorrow so we don't have to say our last good bye yet. Though, we will see each other in July when she comes to visit and I might go down t see her and her new house in August! Post again soon!

Overwhelming!

Hey! Summer is great, and I love to enjoy the sun! I have been cleaning out my and my brother's room out. Fortunately for me, I get to move into my brother's room because he is moving out of the house for college. I am sad but happy, I guess they are mixed feelings because I want to move into his room and get him out of the house, but I will miss him. So, this weekend my mom and I are going to paint mine and my brother's room and then the nest week after that we are getting the carpets replaced in our upstairs. I'm glad that my brother and his girlfriend went to Germany because now my mom and I can clear out his room, paint it and mine, and especially replace the carpet. He is there to rome Germany with his girlfriend because she wants to too and they want freedom before they head to college. So many things are changing in my life with my brother, room, my friend moving to California(Caty Timmerman), summer vacations, and more! I can't wait to do everything and will blog soon!:)
